Eudora 5 Settings - Sending Mail:
Again, the screen is fairly self-explanatory, and most of it should be already filled out if you completed previous steps :
- Server
- "Return Address" must be your email address.
- Usually you leave the "default domain" field blank, as you do not have one.
- In the "SMTP Server" field, put the SMTP (outgoing) server name
- To enable SMTP AUTH, put a check in the "Allow Authorization" box
- Connection
- None of these settings matter for the purposes of SMTP AUTH
- Message
- None of these settings matter for the purposes of SMTP AUTH
You can click "OK" now and it should work, but there are several more screens in Eudora
that contain relevant settings, which you may want to look at if you are having problems.
