OE 5 Win - Account Properties : Servers

• If your window is not on the "Servers" tab, click it.
• The mail type should read "POP3" - You cannot change the type here. If it does not say "POP3" you are either in the wrong account, or need to delete and recreate the account.
• Server Information
  • Incoming Mail (POP3) : Enter your POP mail server name here (ie - "pop.domain.xxx")
  • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) : Enter your SMTP mail server name here (ie - "mail.domain.xxx")
• Incoming Mail Server
  • Account Name : Enter your username here, including number! (ie - "jdoe35")
  • Password : Enter your password here
  • Remember Password : We recommend you check this box
  • Log On Using Secure Password Authentication : You should NOT check this option.
• Outgoing Mail Server
  • My server requires authentication : This is the option that MUST be checked to enable SMTP AUTH
  • After checking it, click on the Settings button.
