OE 5 Win - Account Properties : Servers

- If your window is not on the "Servers" tab, click it.
- The mail type should read "POP3" - You cannot change the type here. If it does not say "POP3" you are either in the wrong account, or need to delete and recreate the account.
- Server Information
- Incoming Mail (POP3) : Enter your POP mail server name here (ie - "pop.domain.xxx")
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP) : Enter your SMTP mail server name here (ie - "mail.domain.xxx")
- Incoming Mail Server
- Account Name : Enter your username here, including number! (ie - "jdoe35")
- Password : Enter your password here
- Remember Password : We recommend you check this box
- Log On Using Secure Password Authentication : You should NOT check this option.
- Outgoing Mail Server
- My server requires authentication : This is the option that MUST be checked to enable SMTP AUTH
- After checking it, click on the Settings button.
Step 5 : Click the "Connection" tab at the top of this window.
